Why We Love It: Victoria Vegan Alfredos are the first and only shelf stable cashew cream sauces on the market. The texture is creamy and reminiscent of real cream-based alfredo sauce. The flavor is subtle – almost a bit too subtle – which leaves room for you to spice up your dish with your own ingredients and flavorings. It was such a treat to be able to indulge in a creamy pasta sauce that didn’t contain any dairy (and a fraction of the fat as well) – what a delightful find!

Meet the Makers: Based in Brooklyn, NY, Victoria Fine Foods was founded in 1929 by Italian emigrants Pellegrino and Maria Aquilina. They make their own cashew cream from scratch staring with the finest whole cashews, then add traditional Italian seasonings: fresh garlic, rosemary, and sea salt. In addition to their vegan alfredo sauces, they also make the only shelf-stable vegan vodka sauces out there.
