Why We Love It: Honestly? We had a hard time stopping ourselves from eating the whole bag…as a snack…right out of the bag. It’s sweet but not too sweet and has a great crunchy, hearty consistency that is very satisfying. We’re not a huge fan of the fact that the first ingredient is corn meal, but we are are comforted by the fact that it’s non-GMO verified and the carb count is lower than many other granolas out there.

Meet the Makers: Based in East Hartford, CT, Bakery on Main started when its founder Michael Smulders, who was working in the bakery of a local natural foods store at the time, decided to create a line of foods that would be delicious for celiacs and food allergy sufferers. Now, Bakery on Main makes a wide range of breakfast cereals and snacks and is sold in many major grocery stores.

Fun Fact: One suggested use of their granola is to zap it with some gluten-free flour in the food processor and use it as a breading for chicken. Yum!
