Good with: Mashed avocados (avo toast!)
Other Flavors: Non-Gluten-Free Passover and Year-Round matzos.
Why We Love It: Big disclaimer: I am writing this review purely from a secular snack perspective. I am not Jewish nor am I going to try to write anything about this product as a traditional religious food. I bought Yehuda Matzos because I was looking for a gluten-free cracker to dip in hummus and I couldn’t find any other crackers in the grocery store that didn’t contain nuts (I’m allergic to almonds). I bought this gluten-free matzo and was surprised at how much I liked it, both paired with hummus and in the morning with avocados on top (a yeast-free avocado toast!), and also just straight out of the box to munch. It has a slightly salty flavor so is not bland at all. It also has a nice thin texture, giving it a satisfying crunch.
Meet the Makers: Based in Jerusalem, the Yehuda Matzos factory is owned by the orthodox Ludmir family from Zefat, who have been baking matzos since 1921. They make matzo products & matzo flour, meeting all strict Kosher & quality requirements, ISO 9001 and HACCP certified. Their products are sold in Israel and in various countries round the world, including the US! www.yehudamatzos.com
