Why We Love It: They’re a lighter, healthier version of rice crispies treats! They taste surprisingly similar just not as cloyingly sweet and of course without all the chemicals and yucky corn syrup that’s in rice crispies treats made with standard store-bought marshmallows. The perfect sweet treat that is lunchbox-safe and made a facility that is free from the top allergens. It’s rare for us to find a product that fits all 5 of our free-from categories, so we were super excited to discover this brand and their healthy sweets. They’ve even got some vegetable powder in them for some extra vitamin boost, but you can’t taste it. You just taste a fun sweet snack!

Meet the Makers: Based in Toronto, Canada, MadeGood Foods was founded in 2013 by siblings lings Nima, Sahba and Salma, who wanted to create healthy family-friendly snacks in a way that takes care of the community and the environment. They make granola bars, granola mini’s (granola bars but in the shape of a bite-sized sphere) and crispy squares. MadeGood products are free from the following eight common allergens: peanut, tree nuts, wheat, dairy, egg, soy, sesame, fish and shellfish. They are also organic, gluten-free, Non-GMO project verified and contain the nutrients of one full serving of vegetables.

Fun Fact:  MadeGood Foods operates the only certified organic allergen free facility in Canada.
